HarborKeen Clay Studio

About the harbor

A studio built around attention.

HarborKeen began with a simple belief: clay classes should be rigorous enough to teach real technique and warm enough to make people want to return.

Our mission

Make skilled making feel available, human, and worth the time.

2018 / First tide

A shared table

Founder Mira Chen opened the first six-seat workshop after years of community teaching and studio practice. The original promise remains: no rushed demonstrations and no assumption that creativity belongs to someone else.

Today / Open hands

A growing practice

Our program now spans beginner foundations, focused intensives, and quiet studio sessions, all held to the same standards of clarity, respect, and useful feedback.
