Useful details
Questions before the first pinch.
A good class begins with clear expectations. If your question is not here, our studio team is happy to help.
Do I need previous clay experience?
No. Foundation classes begin with tools, clay preparation, and basic forms. More advanced listings identify the techniques you should already know.
What materials are included?
Class fees include studio clay, shared tools, glazes listed in the class description, and standard firing for the finished pieces described by the instructor.
What should I wear?
Wear comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes. Clay washes out of many fabrics, but an apron or work shirt is recommended.
How many people are in a class?
Most sessions have six to ten participants, giving each person meaningful access to the instructor without losing the energy of a shared table.
How long does firing take?
Firing timing varies with kiln schedules and drying conditions. The studio team explains the collection window when your work is ready.
Can I book a private group?
Yes. Contact us with your group size, preferred dates, and desired focus. We can recommend a suitable format and instructor.
Are the classes accessible?
Please tell us what access support you need before booking. We will discuss seating, table height, materials, and arrival details with care.
What is your cancellation policy?
Class-specific cancellation terms appear before checkout. When possible, we offer transfers to another session with reasonable notice.
Can I save classes for later?
Use Follow on any catalog card. Saved class IDs remain in your browser and appear on the Fallows page until you remove them.
